This song was not given to me in the morning... It came on the radio while I was getting ready to leave the house. My mind was full and noisy- thinking of all the events of the last few days, and wondering if I could ever hope to get far enough away from my past to hope that I could really start over. Thinking that no matter what everyone says, I just wasn't sure that I could ever deserve to be forgiven or accepted or be allowed to leave it behind... Then, as I was walking out of the bathroom, I heard the words, "Hello, my name is regret.." from behind me. I stopped walking and turned around and stared at the radio... I just stood there, frozen, listening to the words:
